For this Discussion, make sure you have already watched Separated: Children at the Border. Then, answer the following questions:
.) What are your general thoughts on the Trump Administration’s Separation Policy?
.) What does it say about the people who are willing to risk their lives, often leading to death, disease, and rape (6 in 10 girls are raped) in order to make the journey from countries like El Salvador to the United States to seek asylum?
.) How has the Separation Policy affected the children who have been separated from their parents?
.) Clearly, there is no easy solution to fixing the broken immigration system; and while Trump and his supporters feel that border enforcement is never enough, the left believe that it is never humanitarian enough. What do you think would be the best way to handle this situation?
