Search for a significant historical graph.  In class we went over the Minard’s visualization of Napoleon’s march into Russia and Florence Nightingale’s disease graph.  Find another visualization one that describes several key measures or attributes.  Visualizations are used to communicate complicated information, so that it is easily understood.  Your example doesn’t have to be really old. It can be one used by someone in the past couple of years.
