Answer:

I was in a Chinese restaurant two days back. On the table before me was a man and a woman sitting. I started observing them and analyze their body languages and gestures.

The man was wearing a white casual shirt and jeans. He looked between 32-35 years of age. He has black hairs, perfectly combed and was concentrating deeply on the menu book. The woman looked around 30-32 years of age. She was in formal attire, a pink shirt, and black pencil skirt. She was a beautiful woman with black straightened hairs tied in a braid. She was caught up with texting on her phone.

The woman looked extremely irritated and was not at all interested in ordering any sustenance item. The man ordered something from the menu book for the two of them. After the waiter went away, the man tried to explain something to the woman who was again not interested in listening to him. She was still occupied with her phone. I felt he was apologizing for something and the woman was showing zero consideration towards that (Sakroni, 2016). This continued for some 10 to 15 minutes. After that, the woman got up, took her handbag and rushed to the rest-room. The man left behind on the table, covered his face with his hands and sat like that for a few seconds. Then the waiter came with the nourishment. He kept it down on the table. The man asked him to leave without serving the nourishment on the plates. Then he took out his phone, called someone and talked in a rush with a worried expression on his face.

After some 10 minutes, the woman returned to the table. At this point, she had tied up her hairs in a bun and the make-up on her face was all removed. It seemed she cried a little because her eyes and nose were red. She sat down and was again irritated looking at the sustenance. Clearly, they did not like the sustenance ordered as well. The man held her hand and explained something to her with extreme care and love. The woman bent her head down and breathed out heavily. Then, she relaxed on the chair. The man again started to speak and spoke for a decent 15-20 minutes. After that, the woman had a faint smile on her lips and the man smiled satisfactorily. They took the first spoonful of sustenance and laughed again. Possibly, they were laughing at the nourishment getting all virus. They continued eating and talking all the while. After completing the sustenance, they paid for the nourishment and left the restaurant holding hands.

I examined their body languages and gestures very minutely. The woman however spoke very little, yet her body language was very clear and evident (Hofert et al., 2015). I could perfectly understand that she was headed back from the office. The man was possibly her husband as she had a ring on her finger. She was angry because of some reason, cried in the bathroom and felt a little relieved. The man was then able to make her understand something and she was okay with it. Before the end of their dinner, the problem between them was resolved.
